Subject: Temporary Inaccessibility of Microsoft Office Desktop Applications Due to License Renewal
Please be informed that the renewal of Microsoft Office licenses for DepEd-issued @deped.gov.ph accounts is currently being processed by the Central Office. As of this date, no definite timeline has been provided regarding the completion of this renewal.
As a result, you may experience limited access or deactivation of Microsoft desktop applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, which require an active license to function.

To ensure continuity of work, all personnel are advised to consider the following alternatives:
1. 🖥️ Use Microsoft Office via Web Browser
- Access Office apps online by visiting https://www.office.com.
- Log in using your @deped.gov.ph account.
- Note: This method requires a stable internet connection but does not rely on a local license.
2. 🆓 Use Free and Safe Desktop Office Alternatives
The following alternatives are compatible with most MS Office file formats:
- LibreOffice – A full-featured, open-source office suite.
- OnlyOffice – A user-friendly alternative with high compatibility.
